This Privacy Policy explains how Trifrons AG processes personal data when you use Trifrons services, including trifrons.com, and Qybala, including qybala.com, the Qybala iOS app, Qybala products, private readings, newsletter, and deck-code redemption.

Who is responsible for your data?

Information we process

Websites, enquiries, and redemption

When you visit our websites, our hosting infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and protect them, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, and the date and time of your request. If you contact us, we process the information you provide so we can respond. If you use Qybala deck-code redemption, we send the form details you submit—including your deck code and email address—to a Trifrons-operated server to check and administer the redemption.

Orders and payments

Qybala purchases on the website are completed through Shopify. Shopify processes checkout, payment, order, delivery, and applicable tax information under its own privacy policy. We receive the order information needed to fulfil your purchase and provide customer support, such as your name, email address, shipping address, order details, and order status. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Newsletter

Our Qybala newsletter form asks only for your email address. We use it to send Qybala news and updates, manage your subscription, and honour unsubscribe requests. Newsletter delivery is provided through MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a newsletter email or by contacting us.

Private readings

For a private reading, we process the details needed to arrange and provide the session, including contact and scheduling information, the information you choose to share in the session, and payment/order information. We use Google Calendar and Google Meet to arrange and hold calls.

We use artificial intelligence to transcribe reading sessions. A session recording, transcript, session notes, or photograph of a spread may be created or shared where that is part of your reading. Please do not share information that you would not want processed for this purpose. If another person participates in your session, you are responsible for ensuring they know about and agree to this processing.

Qybala iOS app

The Qybala app does not require a Qybala account. Payments for non-consumable in-app items are processed through Apple’s App Store, with RevenueCat used to manage purchase entitlements. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase and device-related information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We use New Relic for crash and performance monitoring and UXCam for app experience/session recordings. These services may process technical and usage information, including device and app information, crash reports, and interactions within the app, to help us diagnose issues and improve the app.

Why we use information

  • operate, secure, and improve Trifrons and Qybala;
  • process purchases, fulfil orders, and provide support;
  • arrange and provide private readings and related materials;
  • process deck-code redemption;
  • send newsletters you request;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, misuse, or technical problems; and
  • comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where Swiss or European data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

Service providers and transfers

Depending on the service you use, our providers include:

  • Firebase/Google Cloud for Qybala website hosting and deck-code redemption;
  • Shopify for Qybala website checkout and order administration;
  • MailerLite for newsletter delivery;
  • Google Calendar and Google Meet for private-reading scheduling and calls;
  • artificial-intelligence transcription services used for private readings;
  • Apple and RevenueCat for App Store purchases and entitlements; and
  • New Relic and UXCam for app diagnostics and experience analysis.

We also embed YouTube content on parts of the Qybala website. YouTube and other third-party services may process information or set cookies when you interact with their content. Their processing is governed by their own policies. Some providers may process data outside Switzerland. When that happens, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected: for example, to fulfil an order, deliver a reading and its related materials, administer a purchase or redemption, respond to you, meet legal and accounting obligations, or resolve a dispute. Retention periods can differ by service and legal requirement.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Qybala website does not use a separate advertising or web-analytics platform. Essential technical technologies may be used to deliver and secure the site. Shopify, MailerLite, and embedded YouTube content may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on it. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@trifrons.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.

We may update this policy when our services or applicable law change. We will publish the revised version here and update the date above.
